The June Repair Fair at the Beaverton Library was the biggest repair event in Washington County to date. More than 50 people attended an brought about 75 items for fixing. Our clever crew of fixers were able to fix about 60% of the items that came through. Popular items included clocks, lamps, clothing, shoes, jewelry and watches as well as bikes and blenders. Check out Clifton’s repair that he did on his own electric guitar – he just needed the right tools.
Thank you so much to the Beaverton Library staff for hosting and leading the event and, of course, the volunteers that contributes their time and skills to help folks get stuff fixed! Special thanks to an attendee that turned into a volunteer that day – stepping in to help out at the registration desk – thanks Susan!
